• Advance Squads: Click on an occupied trench to select it, then click the next forward trench to order your soldiers across no man's land.
• Call Fire Support: Select an artillery barrage or mortar strike from the support bar, then click anywhere on the battlefield to designate the target zone.

You can win each mission in two distinct ways: push enough soldiers past the enemy's final defensive line to overrun their base, or deplete the opposing army's morale to zero through sustained casualties, officer eliminations, and successful trench captures.

Tips for breaking the line

• Time your charges between barrages: Ordering soldiers into the open while enemy machine gun nests or artillery strikes are active leads to rapid casualties. Wait for defensive fire to subside or lay down smoke before ordering a push.
• Combine unit roles: Basic riflemen provide reliable frontline numbers, but pairing them with machine gunners for defensive suppression and snipers to pick off high-value targets creates a far more durable line.
• Target enemy morale: You do not always need to push across the entire map to secure victory. Inflicting heavy losses and holding captured trenches steadily drains the enemy commander's will to fight.
• Prioritize upgrades in campaign mode: Between campaign battles, invest earned experience points into artillery cooldown reduction and squad survivability to withstand tougher enemy waves in later missions.
