Rules and board layout

The playing area consists of ten tableau columns and a reserve stock pile:

• Tableau columns: Fifty-four cards are dealt across the ten columns at the start. The first four columns receive six cards each, while the remaining six columns receive five cards each. Only the top card of each column is face-up; the rest remain hidden face-down underneath.
• Building down: You can place any movable card on top of another card whose rank is exactly one higher, regardless of suit (for example, placing a 7 of Hearts onto an 8 of Spades).
• Group movements: You may move multiple cards together only if they form a continuous descending sequence of the exact same suit (such as 9-8-7 of Diamonds).
• Revealing hidden cards: When moving a card exposes a face-down card at the top of a column, click to flip it face-up and bring it into active play.
• Empty columns: Whenever you completely clear a column, any card or valid suited group can be placed into the empty space.
• The stock deal: When you run out of productive moves on the tableau, click the stock pile to deal ten fresh cards—one onto each column. Every column must contain at least one card before a new row can be dealt.

• Delay stock deals: Exhaust all meaningful tableau combinations before drawing ten new cards from the stock deck. An untimely deal often buries cleanly organized runs under unwanted cards.
